For NDIS participants in remote areas, we charge the prescribed NDIS rates, Please note that the NDIS recommend that a 'mobile Psychologist', travelling to Deniliquin (MMM4) from our base in Melbourne charges 1 hour travel each way, equating to 2 hours. Therapy Toolbox, however, opt to limit this fee to 1 hour TOTAL. This is below the NDIS travel-charge recommendations and is designed to minimize the impact upon the participant's NDIS package. There is never an out-of-pocket expense to the 'NDIS compliant' participant, nor their family.
